Recognizing that learning to drive the family boat may be intimidating, especially when the man in the family attempts to provide lessons, Newport Boats proudly presents a day-long seminar designed to give women the assurance they need in the cockpit and at the helm.

With confidence, boating for the entire family is even more fun! With self-reliance at the helm, you’ll really discover the sense of freedom that only being on the water brings and a whole new world of boating opens.

The event, for women of all experience levels, provides a safe, secure environment in which women can relax and learn. The morning starts with a safety and electronics briefing. After a first-class lunch at a waterside restaurant, students board one of our boats closest in size to their own.

Our professional captains are exceptional teachers who patiently walk you through how to maneuver a boat around the harbor and into a slip with ease. And, with a team of fiberglass experts in the wings, you need not worry about dings! Newport Boats’ goal is to eliminate any anxiety about driving a boat and ensure that our female clients are more excited than ever about getting on the water.
